Evangelizing the Elderly

The elderly of our world provide another vital target population. For the first time in our history, there are as many people over age 65 as there are under 18. Often the elderly are lonely, ill, poor or dying. They need the help and fellowship of the church. To be ready for living and for dying, they need Christ. In every local church we have energetic and devoted members who are approaching retirement age. Moreover, these unique members can reach those of their own age with the gospel.

Even the elderly, in many cases, have dabbled in idolatry or the occult or immoral sex. Consequently, spiritual ground is not easily gained in their lives. Their minds have been bound by the powers of darkness and much intercessory prayer is needed to reach both backslidden Christians and nonbelievers. However, it is not impossible, if Christians are willing to pay the price to pray.

We must minister to various races, nationalities and cultures around the world and to those pockets of people who come to the United States. Some 25 Million Hispanics live in the United States, and their number is growing. Migration from the Middle East has reached such proportions that Muslims outnumber both Jews and Presbyterians.

We can reach them when we deliberately seek to understand them. The apostle Paul said, “And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; 21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ) that I might gain them that are without law,” (1 Cor. 9:20-21).

Born Again Believers

The Christian church is supposed to be a congregation made up of “born-again believers.” These are believers who trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior. These believers also meet together to fellowship and learn to carry out the Great Commission of the evangelism of the Word of God. The church is not a building where Christians meet but the building is the church time in which the believers meet. However, the Bible uses the metaphor of a building to picture the church which is mystically made up of believers with Jesus Christ as the Cornerstone.

Paul, the apostle gives us the analogy in (I Cor. 3:11),“For no other ‘foundation’ can no man lay than is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” Then Jesus becomes the head of the church and connected to His people. The Apostle Peter addresses the church as consisting of people to a living mystical organism in (I Pet. 2:5), “Ye also as ‘lively stones,’ are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” Paul continues this comparison of the church to a living spiritual body in (Eph. 2:21), “In whom all the building fitly ‘framed’ together groweth unto a holy temple.”

Lack of Harmony in Christian Marriages

Two cannot walk together unless they be agreed. A couple should not get married unless they are compatible. Before a couple gets married there should be an understanding on spiritual matters. Without this understanding there could be trouble down the road. Eventually, both parties need to have an equal or comparable commitment to Christ and living for Him in order for the marriage to function in harmony. The Spirit of God has to be present in a marriage and the couple functioning in a personal relationship with the Lord or the two may not walk in the unity of agreement.

Imagination Gates Mind Control

No nation which denies the true God has, or ever will, successfully endure. So therefore if America falls, we can anticipate far reaching global repercussions, not only economically and politically, but more so spiritually. In a world of spiritual darkness, man will attempt to guide himself by the satanic constellations of secular humanism, New Age religions, atheism, eastern mysticism, and occultism. America stands as the last tower of strength of true Biblical Christianity. It is becoming a weakening spiritual lighthouse in a global storm of confusion.There is an answer, however, for the world, both individually and collectively, which is a spiritual rebirth through the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A Christian tells me of a young ten-year-old girl that is now seeing spooky spiritual things in her room. After taking her to see the Chronicles, her Christian mother does not believe her. The answer to the problem was to send her daughter to a doctor and fill her up with drugs.

There are millions of children in this position in America today. Millions of children are in darkness. Recommended by their Christian leaders, millions are being entertained by puppets, Christian heavy rock bands, Hip Hop, cartoons, and now, Magical fantasy movies.

We live in the day and age where there has been such a growing proliferation of ways into the world of mysticism, by video games, DVDs and the Internet, leading people into what has become the accepted world of wizardry and imagination. Such playing with fire is a stepping stone into the mystical practices that will surely damn millions of young souls into raging fires of hell.

“And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. Word craft means craftiness, witchcraft. Deceitfulness.”
(Dan 8:25).

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.” (Gen. 6:5-7).

The Scripture tells us, “Blow the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in My holy mountain: Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand,” (Joel 2:11). “O Zion, Holy People of God, awake to the sound of the trumpet, for the day of the Lord is near.” We are living in treacherous times as never before witnessed. There is absolutely a war going on in the United States! It is a battle for the minds of the people to change their spiritual concepts.

Subliminal messages to your children

Parents must be vigilant. Satan’s aim is to grab the mind of your child and then steal the child’s soul forever.

Children are perishing for the lack of knowledge of parents and Christian ministers. Many are ignorant of the role toys,cartoons and movies play in a child’s life. One toy manufacturer has announced new toys that will interact with the television cartoons. Have you ever noticed that glazed, hypnotic stare that comes into your child’s eyes while watching television? This interacting toy will totally control your child’s mind. The news media announced that the human ear would not be able to hear the commands given to the toys from the cartoons but the toys would be triggered to interact with the TV action. This proves that cartoonists are probably already embedding subliminal messages to the minds of your children.

Called subliminal Projection by New Age prophet, Aldous Leonard Huxley in his Utopian book, Brave New World & Brave New World Revisited:

“subliminal projection means an image presented to the sight or words to the hearing for a matter of microseconds and superimposed upon visual or auditory entertainment. What is seen or heard in that lightning like interval lodges in the subconscious and tends to be a powerful influence on subsequent behavior.”

It’s about worldly and spiritual authority. Christian parents are given the responsibility to raise their precious young souls for God that He has entrusted unto them; admonitions to carefully train one’s child in the Lord, (Deut.11: 9). (Eph.6: 4). See spiritual warnings for those who fail to properly teach their children or lead them into error-filled teachings. “But who shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and that he be drowned in the depths of the sea,” (Matt.18: 6).

Christian parents have fundamental spiritual authority, or headship over their children. Even if the child has not yet received eternal life, he or she is protected and sanctified under the covenant of the parents’ commitment to Jesus Christ to an incredible extent. The Lord has placed a strong hedge of protection around Christian families, (Job.1: 10). Godless parents mindlessly open the child’s lifestyle of disobedience and a disposition to turn to the devil into the minds and lives of his or her children. These influences that the children are under are strongholds that control their thinking and will affect how they relate to the Gospel. They will also cause spiritual bondages in their lives. These rebellions include ensnarements to drug dependency, sexual sins, etc. The parent’s lives will be repeated in their children. Godly parents must raise children holy. “. . . the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband else were your children unclean but now are they holy,” (I Cor. 7:14)). The word “unclean” conveys the particular idea under demonic influence. Many things apart from the family defile the children, such as ungodly television, movies, books, music and a host of other evil undertakings that are available to them outside the home.

The Church is the dwelling place of God

We should consider that of the one hundred and fifteen times the word “church” is mentioned in the New Testament, ninety times it refers to a local congregation of baptized believers covenanted together as the Body of Christ. Jesus is the foundation of this church, and every other New Testament church.

The church is referred to as “the Body of Christ” of Jesus Christ is shown as stated: “And he is the head of the body, the church, with church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence,” (I Cor. 1:18), the church is also shown as the dwelling place for God. The Holy Spirit indwells permanently each Christian and the corporate body of Christians in the church.The Greek word for “church” is “ekklesia.” It means, “A group of people called from their homes or places of business to assemble together.”

The church is spiritual if her members are spiritual. The church is evangelistic if her members are soul winners. There can be no distinction between the church and those who compose the church. However, truly the church was instituted by Jesus Christ to be a militant spiritual power to change the hearts of unregenerate people. Every church should be a lighthouse that has a deep and constant concern for the welfare of others. It is spiritual place that would have unselfish devotion of the best interest for the community, city, and nation. The church should have a love that has a readiness to serve another with no thought of personal profit. Prudently speaking we would say that Christians would love the church as Jesus Christ does. Church people must be less concerned of checking the perfection of another and concentrate on showing love for people’s souls. Pray for them and God will help them!

Elimination of the Cross Part Two

The Deity and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, separates the true Christian from all religious gods of the world. Apart from His cross, there is simply is no redemption for sin and people would eternally be separated from God.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” — John 14:6

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.– Hebrews 9:22

The prophet Malachi prophesied of a supernatural purge coming to God’s house.

” . . . the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple… but who may abide the day of His coming? And who shall stand when He appeareth? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fuller’s soap. And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.” (Malachi 3:1-3)

This is a dual prophecy. He speaks of Christ’s first coming, and also of His second! He will come again suddenly, as a thief in the night. But first, He will purify His Church. The Bible says He is coming back for an overcoming Church called the Bride of Christ without spot or wrinkle! At the same time, there will be a large falling away that shows Jesus standing on the outside of the backslidden, wealthy church knocking at the door to come inside the hearts of the people. The question is no longer, “What can my faith get me? What miracle will He perform for me?” The question now is – “How shall I stand before Him? How shall I make it at the Judgment?” ” . . who shall stand when He appeareth?” (Malachi 3:2)

The spiritual purge must begin in the pulpit! ” . . . He shall purify the sons of Levi… ” (Malachi 3:3) God is “turning up the heat making things so blistering, so severely intense; Pastors and church leaders will be driven to their knees in repentance by the fire of the Holy Ghost He is going to shake everything that can be shaken! Christian will not escape this Divine spiritual cleansing. Each will have the opportunity to receive or reject the chastisement of God. The divine purge will spread from the pulpit to the pew! Exposition of all sin, all adultery, and all foolishness can turn into blessing when repentance returns the sinners to submit to God! The Holy Ghost will reprove every Christian of sin.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. . . “(Hebrews 12:14) Malachi said – “…the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven: and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up…” (Malachi 4:1)

God also promises to bring down the strongholds of the enemy! He is going to once and for all let the devil and the world know who has the power!

Stealing the Minds and Souls of our Children through Witchcraft

“ I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”Rom 7:25

It was as if Paul was saying: “To conclude, the sum of what I have advanced, concerning the power of sin in the carnal man, and the utter insufficiency of all human means and legal observances to pardon sin and expel the corruption of the heart, is this: that the very same person, the same “I”, while without the Gospel, under the killing power of the law, will find in himself two opposite principles, the one subscribing to and approving the law of God; and the other, notwithstanding, bringing him into captivity to sin: his inward man-his rational powers and conscience, will assent to the justice and propriety of the requisitions of the law; and yet, notwithstanding this, his fleshly appetites-the law in his members, will make war against the law of his mind, and continue, until he receives the Gospel of Christ, to keep him in the galling captivity of sin and death.”

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft , hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelling, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal 5:19-21).

Recently, in our city, a middle school student was dealing drugs. After a young student reported him, the drug dealer brought a machete to school, hacked the boy seriously hurting him. Another student performed oral sex on a student in front of the teacher and class! Also, a policeman that was supposed to be protecting the students was dealing drugs.

Are Christian Children safe from Satan’s seductions?

Children are the targets of Satan’s darkness. The problem is, that parents are walking in agreement with his tactics. Sadly, in many instances, the Church leadership is spiritually bankrupt concerning its discernment concerning Satan’s powers of darkness. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,” (Isa. 5).

Satan is boldly striking from within the Church and schools on both adults and children. The spirits of violence, paganism, fantasy and wizardry are mainlined themes for Christian children. Many spiritually blinded “Christian” leaders are pursuing a powerful demonic agenda that will take Christians into the emerging church or a new counterfeit system. The metaphysical capture of the souls and minds of the youth is the goal to turn them to another gospel, another spirit and another Jesus. Unrighteous deception is escalating because our churches and many spiritual leaders are sleeping.
